The message here is one of Gabe's last email letters Gabe sent out on his mission with some added images. It was my pleasure to photograph this young man.
The End is Near
Hey everyone,
Its been a bit since I've last checked in with yall, so here's a little update!
1) I'm almost done with my mission, I have 17 days left! It's crazy how fast it's gone by. I wish it could go on forever cause I just love being a missionary, but sadly it's coming to an end too fast!
2) I'm in the main city of Fort worth, like my area is down town fort worth! It's so awesome how many miracles we see literally everyday. At night I get home and as I write in my journal I think "wow that really happened to me today" lol
3) I'm training my new comp, and he's a beast. It's almost poetic how I'm ending my mission and he's beginning. I love him, his name is Elder Lish and he's from California. He's a super hard worker, very teachable, and so funny!
4) It's so hot here! Everyday for the past couple week's it's gotten up to over 100 degrees. This coming week there's a few days in a row where it'll be 110 and then you add the humidity on top of that. This is probably the only reason I'm a little excited to go back to Washington haha
5) I just had my 21st birthday the 17th and it was great! Started off with our friend coning to church or the 3rd week in a row and he paid tithing! Such a huge step! Later we had some good lessons. And after my favorite family in the ward fed us a great dinner! We ended the day with contacting some people and having another miracle lesson of being led to someone.
6) I'm seeing crazy miracles LITERALLY everyday! Like I can't even explain how insane it is to see God guide us daily to people who are so ready to change and come unto christ. Like just yesterday we didn't know what to do for the last little bit of the day and so after praying we decided to visit this one person completely across our area. While parking and walking to her building we came across this other lady who we ran into a few weeks ago but she stopped responding to us. She thanked the lord and asked us to come join her inside and we had a crazy lesson that she needed to hear. It was completely guided by the spirit!
Sorry it's a long one but I can't praise God enough for all these blessings! Read your scriptures, say your prayers, I'll see yall soon!
