Family portraits build self-esteem by giving a sense of belonging. Helps children to see that they are loved by their family in a physical representation. I always photograph individuals as well during a family portrait session so to see them smiling and happy also builds the self-image aspect of esteem. A beautiful portrait of yourself on the wall or in an album shows the ability to connect with joy from within.
